Christen 2012 with an AvP2 event?

Hello guys, this is the first time I've posted anything in probably well over a year. I hope you are all doing well.

Me? I'm in my final year of University, and can't wait until May is over >_>

Through ol' Google I managed to reinstall AvP2, he sent me the contents of the DvD and without discs OR a cd key I was playing again.
As soon as it hit me, I got a wave of nostalgia that I hadn't felt for years…

Don't you remember us all running towards the evac only for someone to nade themself in the face and blow everyone up?
Or Frost's terrible ping?
Or those bloody amazing sUk stronghold games…

Well! It just so happens, I came across something.

Now, I'm sorry if this is old news and you already know about it >_<

But I for one would LOVE to try this out.
Granted, there aren't that many people around nowadays, but you can usually find at least one server with people in it.
Why don't we try and get a few people involved? AvP2 is easy enough to get hold of if you don't have your discs, or maybe you could get it the same way I did.

Whaddaya say guys, shall we raise the dead one last time?

I'll play if we assemble a fine set o' players… That map does look pretty damn cool. He probably should've released it six years ago.

Funny thing is, I just found my last AvP2 discs. I had a few. I am all for it, Prince.

You can definitly count me in. I tried to test it alone but somehow I cannot host a local lan server myself anymore.. Maybe I get this fixed.

Edit: Cutting the savior mod rez file and pasting it elsewhere for the time playing a lan game worked. I don't know what the latest version of the server mod is but at least it does work client side with the one I have..

Fyx, would you mind to open a server so we can at least play the map outside of an event?

Hello anyone still interested? Even if not, it would at least be kind to open two servers for suk1 and suk2, AvP2 won't be too much load to any at least half-modern server.
